Growing up in Cairo, Egypt in its old neighborhoods with its rich, ancient and diverse heritage in arts had an indirect impact on how I express and approach my art. Being among diverse types of arts, whether its authentic Mediterranean north African Egyptian or western European influenced had enriched my senses from an early age.

Although my education background and work had been in civil engineering, drawing and painting has always been a part of me. I have always had that urge to paint, whether through self education or taking various art classes and workshops. Currently I am residing in Denver, Colorado, and studying at the Art Students League of Denver and the REAL Academy of Arts.

When my work was featured at one of the Pastel Art Society of Colorado shows and received an honorary mention award that gave me a push to pursue my dream of becoming a full time artist.

I have always been fascinated by nature and the human figure. My goal is to solve their mysteries and express their marvelous greatness on canvas. The mediums Iā€™m currently working with are charcoal, pastels and oils.

I hope my work will bring you as much joy as it brings me.
